Kaabo Mantis X Pro - New Model!

Designed for the dynamic urban explorer, this scooter is the perfect companion for anyone seeking speed, reliability, and exceptional travel comfort. This innovative model embodies superior craftsmanship and cutting-edge technologies, ensuring unmatched performance, handling, and stability.

Based on its big sibling the Mantis King GT, the Mantis X uses the same reliable, comfortable, and innovative chassis. It is equipped with either one (ECO) or two (PRO) upgraded motors, each with a nominal power of 800W, and a durable 48V/13Ah or 18.2Ah Li-ion battery that allows you to travel a distance of up to 75 km.

It's worth noting that here at Storm Rides we understand our customers needs and what is truly required to conquer NZ's hilly terrain - both up and down. That's whey we've negotiated with Kaabo to upgrade the Mantis X from standard 500w motors and cable brakes - to 800w motors and full hydraulic brakes! We call this the STORM EDITION!

Kaabo Mantis X Pro

Wow, what a piece of kit. The dual motors are amazing, handle hills with such ease. Took a while to get used to the brakes, but seriously happy with the scooter, ticks every box!!

Kaabo Mantis X (storm edition)

I am really enjoying this scooter, great build quality and very powerful. I live in Wellington and this scooter can handle the hilly terrain with ease. It is also fairly portable and can be carried for shorter distances / upstairs, so, not bad for apartments or indoor storage. My only quibble is the brakes, which I am finding a little tricky to work out. There is a combo. of electronic assistance as well as manual braking and they work really well at speed / downhill, but a little less well at slower speeds. I just need to get used to it I guess. The scooter was delivered to me in Wellington after I purchased at from the guys at Storm Rides in Morningside, Auckland. Great service! Thanks for the scooter and I will work on getting used to the brakes. Cheers

Amazing suspension, bright indicators

Went to X Pro from a Inmotion Climber (no suspension). Far superior, soft suspension over bumps, NFC tag security, wide deck, big screen, bright headlight. Just the right power to be fun. The stalk indicators can flash in sync like hazard lights. Only just lift able at 30kgs.

Kaabo Mantis X Pro "Storm" edition

I've taken delivery of the storm edition Mantis X Pro. I was initially worried it might not be powerful enough with only twin 800w motors. Boy was I wrong!!! I'm a heavy rider at 110kg and this machine moves me easily. It eats up some of the hills I have on my commute like they don't exist. Great suspension also. Awesome scooter!

LEGEND!! Yeah Chris, the Kaabo Mantis X Pro is more than meets the eye all right.
We had to go 'STORM Edition' on those ones, the rest of the world get 600w motors... that just wasn't going to cut it, so we went for dual 800s

Kaabo Mantis XPro

LOVE the scooter, has given me some real independence and freedom as we are a one car couple. Super smooth ride, averages around 45-46 km/ph but can push 50 with a full charge. had it for 6 months, been very reliable. StormRides were great, so much better than buying from some unknown online site. Buy with confidence!!
