All Safety Gear

"All the Gear All the Time" is a good mantra to keep in mind... body vs pavement is never a good experience.  Keep yourself safe with a selection of high quality safety gear.

Always ride with:

Helmet - full face highly recommended especially if going 40 km/h or more

Gloves - best with protection built in like plastic knuckles and palm sliders, unreinforced gloves are really for 30 km/h or less, hands are very delicate and complex, look after them

Shoes - wear proper closed toe shoes and if going over 40 km/h or riding often we strongly recommend proper reinforced riding boots.

Body Armour - we have a wide range of knee, elbow, torso and other body armour.

If you are going to commute regularly or go over 40 km/h we strongly recommend gearing up to the nines, nobody who has fallen off with good gear has ever regretted it, the converse is sadly not true...

Love it!

Love it! Arrived yesterday and had my son in law put it all together- a few bits were quite stiff but not a problem for him. It is great- I feel quite safe riding it (I’m 76), easy controls and quite a comfortable seat- lots of space in the baskets as well. I’ve just ordered a lock for it as I’ll be taking it into town. Better than an e-bike for sure as I can ride it on the footpath! Thank you- it was worth the wait!

I loved how smooth the ride was. Very easy to put together and very comfortable to use. Perfect for my kids as a commuter to school and nearby activities. The basket in front allows them to put their sports bag, instruments etc easily, but not so cool that they are going to use it to whizz around town with their mates like crazy nutcases.
